School Council

The School Council plays a vital role in the decisions that affect the students at Clayton Hall.  Each form group elects two representatives to sit on the School Council.  The council members meet once every half term to discuss issues and concerns the students have.  This is a great opportunity for the pupils to share their views with the staff.  At Clayton we believe that a good dialogue between staff and pupils promotes a better atmosphere and boosts moral.  It gives pupils a sense of ownership and allows them to help with choices that directly affect them.

Council members help to organise charity events in school; each year they nominate a local and national charity for which they raise money through a variety of events and activities.
