Specialist School Trust

Clayton Hall Business and Language College is a Specialist School; part of a network of schools created by the Specialist Schools Trust.

The Trust’s mission is to build a world-class network of innovative, high-performing secondary schools in partnership with business and the wider community.  This is now thought to be the largest network of schools in the world with over 2000 Specialist Schools and City Technology Colleges.

The Trust and the school believes that the most effective methods of raising standards involve schools, at all levels, working with each other to share best practice and provide mutual support and challenge.

Specialist status allows a school to extend the range of opportunities available to students which best meet their needs and interests.
